Dr. Galina Datskovsky is a distinguished privacy, compliance, and security expert with a global reputation. She is an accomplished serial entrepreneur, currently serving on several boards where she leverages her expertise to guide business strategy, product development, governance, and cybersecurity.
Dr. Datskovsky previously held senior roles including Senior Vice President ofInformation Governance at HP, SVP and GM of Information Governance at CATechnologies, and CEO of MDY Advanced Technologies. She was a key leader in ARMA International, serving as Chair, President, and Director from 2007 to 2013, and was inducted into its Fellowship in 2014.
Currently, she is a member of the advisory board for the Executive Women’s Forum and the Voice Privacy Alliance. Dr. Datskovsky is also a dedicated advocate for entrepreneurship, supporting numerous startups with strategic guidance. Her extensive contributions to the field are recognized through numerous awards, including the Distinguished Engineer designation from CA (2006-10), the Emmet Leahy Award (2013), and her fellowship with ARMA International (2014).
In addition to her industry roles, she has consulted for IBM and Bell Labs and taught at Fordham University and Columbia University. Dr. Datskovsky holds a Doctoral, Master’s, and Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Columbia University.
